Stefan Neuber is a 21-year-old entrepreneur, developer, and keynote speaker from Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany. His journey into technology began in seventh grade with a robotics project at school, sparking a passion for turning code and ideas into tangible solutions that help people worldwide.
"The breakthrough came when I developed my first app and suddenly people around the world started using it. A 14-year-old in the small town of Halle, with a computer and ideas – and I could suddenly help people on other continents. That realization was my motivation and drive to keep going."
National winner of Jugend gründet 2021 & multiple state winner of Jugend forscht & SXSW EDU Winner 2023
Experienced in education tech, automation, VR, and AI-powered learning solutions
Silicon Valley experience, ThoughtWorks scholarship recipient, BESTFORM Ambassador
"Focus on the problem you're solving! It's tempting to get lost in details – what color should the app be, what should the product be called? But the crucial question is: Who are you helping and with what? If you keep that in mind, much else develops naturally."
Stefan's approach to innovation is grounded in practical problem-solving and perseverance. His experience from competitions to the Silicon Valley taught him that the biggest limitations are often self-imposed.
"Innovation means not letting self-doubt slow you down. It's about wanting to solve problems and persistently sticking with them. Just doing it, trying it out, learning from it. Most good ideas emerge while doing, not while planning."
Stefan participated in "Jugend forscht" (Youth Research) six times starting from seventh grade, developing projects ranging from Lego robots to a personalized math trainer. Through these projects, especially the personalized math trainer, he explored and deeply understood how students learn best and how effective learning methods can be designed—insights that later became a core foundation of his entrepreneurial journey.
A year spent at Windsor High School in Northern California provided invaluable exposure to Silicon Valley's entrepreneurial ecosystem. During this time, he also became the first German winner of the SXSW EDU Student Startup Competition in Austin, Texas, underscoring his ability to turn ideas into real-world solutions. This experience shaped his understanding of innovation and the open, entrepreneurial mindset that drives technological advancement.
In 2023, Stefan was selected for the prestigious IT scholarship from ThoughtWorks, competing against nearly 150 other applicants. This recognition validated his passion for technology and software development.
Based on years of experience in education technology and learning research, Stefan created Superlearn – an AI study coach that turns lecture slides into clear summaries, flashcards, and study guides. Every feature is grounded in proven learning principles so you can trust it to support, not replace, your own way of studying.
Superlearn uses methods like active recall and spaced repetition instead of shortcuts that hurt long-term understanding.
Stefan has spent years building education tools, studying how students actually learn, and testing what really works.
You see your summaries, flashcards, and study guides clearly structured, so you stay in control of your learning.
From dense lecture slides to last-minute exam prep, Superlearn is made to reduce stress, not add complexity.
